About me
Wildlife photography isn’t just my work; it’s my passion and a constant pursuit of that one perfect moment.
It all started with two round-the-world journeys, each lasting twenty months. During my first journey, I carried nothing more than a small compact camera. I was simply enjoying the experience, and photography was just a fun hobby.
That all changed during my second journey. That’s when the spark really caught fire. I invested in professional equipment and began immersing myself seriously in the craft of photography.
Since then, I have spent thousands of hours in the field. I’ve travelled the world, lived and camped out of my car along the way, and even spent five weeks in the jungle as part of a survival program – an experience that pushed me to my physical limits and saw me lose 10 kilos.
Those extreme experiences have shaped me into the photographer I am today: self-sufficient, exceptionally patient, and able to perform under the most challenging circumstances. In fact, when conditions get tough, that’s when I’m truly in my element.
I’m constantly looking for the images that most people overlook.
As a true animal lover, I observe nature with an eye for behavior. Do the birds suddenly fall silent or become restless? Then I know something is coming. I read the environment, anticipate movement, and wait patiently for nature to reveal its story.

Respect First
The most important thing to me is remembering that I am a guest in their world. I treat animals with the utmost respect and will never interfere with their behavior or disturb them for the sake of a photograph.
If my presence disrupts an animal’s peace, I walk away. I would always rather leave without a photograph than influence an animal’s natural behavior.
No cages. No baiting. No forced encounters. Just nature, as it is.
Storytelling Through Imagery
For me, photography is all about storytelling.
In a world filled with polished stock photography, I help you stand out with images that are real, raw, and unforgettable.
Whether it’s the tension of a spectacular hunt, the humor of a flamingo caught in a bizarre pose, or a sea lion with a runny nose, I capture those unexpected moments that reveal the unique personality of an animal.
My goal is to make you look at one of my photographs and think, “Wow, what on earth is happening here?” Or simply make you smile because of the sheer purity of the moment.
Who I Work With
I choose my collaborations carefully. I prefer to work with partners who, like me, refuse to compromise on ethics or quality.
Foundations, NGOs & Rewilding
I support organizations and scientists working to protect and restore nature by providing high-quality documentary imagery. I capture the resilience of habitats and ecosystems in ways that help communicate the urgency of your mission directly to sponsors, policymakers, and the public.
Media & Editorial
For leading media outlets and publications, I deliver images that immediately grab attention while meeting the highest ethical standards.
Eco-friendly Entrepreneurs & Tour Operators
From small-scale eco-lodges to local tour operators, I help showcase the authentic nature experiences you offer. Always with the respect that wildlife and nature deserve.
Let’s Collaborate!
Are you or your organization looking for a visual story that is authentic down to the smallest detail? I’m open to selected commissions and creative projects where we can work together to amplify the impact of your mission.
